Hotel Holiday - Zermatt

Honestly, the bed reminded me of it was made for a toddler, with zero support. Definitely thought i'd have a fancy welcome gift, but i guess that's too much to ask. Oh, and no fridge? Talk about basic! I couldn't give a good review, just couldn't.

It was an IDEAL place, had extremely great staff with the Service-such a friendly staff. Location: the hotel was next to parks, restaurants, ski lifts and glacier tours, high-priced Zermatt and the ski lifts and rental shop.

Unfortunately, the staff at reception were quite unhelpful, lacking friendliness and warmth. This. The room cleanliness left much to be desired, with corners untouched and the moldy faucet not being addressed .

I had functional, new-fashioned rooms with a private safe, a minibar, and central heating. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the balcony had excellent views of the mountains...

It was a great place with great dinners. The staff was friendly with our children and dog as well as helpful. It was a great stay!

The hotel was perfect for our family getaway. With cozy rooms and amazing views of the Matterhorn, we enjoyed the great location. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant. The dishes were fresh and delicious! Definitely a highlight of our trip!

For dads, it would be great if the shower space was larger.

Room was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. Breakfasts were basic buffet fair but pleny of it!. Good value for Zermatt as the town is very expensive on the whole.If we went back at anttime in the future we would use this hotel again, all in all a good stay.

Cost extra for bacon and omelettes!!

The room was newly remodelled and functional, included with balcony and a pre-dinner drink, as for instance. A shower and hairdryers were available there.

Lovely welcominghip new hotel with a nice design. Good breakfast with cheeses, juice and also a hot option offered, absolutely perfect location. Close to a train station, convenient.

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. We had a great view of Matterhorn from our balcony (although construction cranes in Zermatt do affect it).

We got an economy room. When we checked in, we learned this is on the top floor, which has a sloping roof. We could only stand comfortably in the center of the room. This was quite inconvenient. We could not shower because of this problem. Also, they didn't have a shower curtain, or a electric kettle. The internet is costly, but there are many bars in Zermatt with free Wifi.

We were staying right below the roof and thus the height of the room was a bit tricky (we almost succeeded to not hit hour heads. For 150CHF/room, 1 night incl. breakfast, there is nothing to complain about. We were very content - the place is close to the train-station and also going to the old town of Zermatt is feasible within 10 minutes walk. We will go again, no question.

The rooms are recently renovated and are very comfortable

It's a little bit of a walk to the Sunnega lift - only about 5 minutes but in ski boots that feels really long!
